At Verde Energy Group, we offer three flexible solutions for Solar PV installation: CAPEX, Deferred Payments Scheme (DPS), and a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). Each of these models comes with its own unique benefits, with many areas of overlap from grant eligibility to ownership structure and cash flow impact. CAPEX

Our CAPEX model is a straightforward, upfront investment approach. Your business funds the solar installation directly, meaning you own the system from day one and can access all available grant support. This model is ideal for capital-rich businesses that want full control, faster installation timelines, and to retain 100% of the long-term savings.

DPS

The Deferred Payments Scheme or DPS is our “pay as you save” model. Verde finances the system on your behalf, while you gain ownership from the start. Repayments are spread over 5 years and are structured so that over the course of each year, the savings generated by the system exceed the total monthly repayments. This model gives you access to grants and allows you to invest your capital in your own business, while your system pays for itself in the background.

PPA

With a PPA, Verde installs and retains ownership of the solar system and you simply pay for the clean energy it produces at a lower rate than your current electricity supplier. There are no upfront costs, no maintenance responsibilities and you still benefit from reduced carbon emissions and energy savings. This model suits businesses seeking a low-risk path to decarbonisation.
